Ready to have fun for a great cause? Join BEACON for English Language & Literacy for our annual Scrabble® Scramble Fundraising Event presented by our Title Sponsor, Quaker Custom Homes—a lively, team-based game night that supports adult English learners in our community.
Don’t worry—you don’t have to be great at Scrabble!
You’ll play in teams of four, working together to build words, laugh a lot, and compete against other teams. The tournament includes two rounds of play, and the top two teams with the highest combined scores from Rounds 1 and 2 will win prizes.
Why Scrabble®?
Because words matter! Just like our students, players stretch their vocabulary, think creatively, and build confidence—all while helping adult immigrants improve their English, prepare for citizenship, and build skills that can change their lives.
🎟 Team Ticket: $140 (4 players per team) +$11.35 processing fees
There will be food, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and plenty of friendly competition—it’s a feel-good night you won’t want to miss!
📅 Saturday, April 25 | 5–8 PM (doors open at 4:30 PM) 📍 Linton Hall School Gym, Bristow, VA
