BEACON for English Language & Literacy

Donations from this event directly support BEACON’s life-changing programs. Last year alone, we empowered 512 adult learners from more than 50 countries to build confidence in English, prepare for U.S. citizenship, and strengthen job readiness skills. Your generosity helps open doors—not just for our students, but for their families and our entire community. Did you know that it costs BEACON approximately $708 to support one adult learner annually? Because student fees do not cover the full cost of our program, we rely on generous community support to keep our classes affordable to our students. Most of our learners report facing significant financial challenges. Our community partnerships and individual donors help provide life-changing opportunities, not merely English and Citizenship classes. Our services allow our students the opportunity to gain independence, dignity, and the ability to stand up, speak out, and thrive in our society.
